Trip report is lost

I sent a long trip report yesterday and cannot find it posted anywwhere. Could it have been too long, what happens, does it get erased?

Nikao Feb 19th, 2007 10:17 AM

maybe your internetconnection, or a glitch on Fodors. I can't see the trip report when clicking on your name, so im afraid you will have to write it again.
I hope you wrote it in word before posting here?

Can't help, but I did find that if the file taken from a word doc was too large, not all posted. I now, post reports in sections, a few days at a time.

Of course, some reports a short and there are no problems, but when posting day-by-day in detail, you may want to as others have, just add each day to the original thread until you've completed the report.

As Nikao asks, and hopes, as do I - it was in a Word doc?

Fodor's does strange things, often depending from which browser I'm accessing it.

Oh no! How horrible. I do hope you have it in a word doc or other form.

Welcome back!!! I look forward to reading and seeing anything you care to share.

This happened to me many times over the past month. Very frustrating to be on an antiquated forum system (another jab!).

:-)

I am so sorry. This is a painful lesson to type anything of length in Word and transfer it over.

Please submit another report when you are able.

Thanks, I AM using Word this time and have posted the first installment.

snorklesue,

Thanks for being patient and trying to re-write your report for all of us. Truly appreciate it...

Hari

Bummer snorkle, after all your hard work. Perhaps it will reappear as a recent thread of mine did although I may have been temp. delusional.

Would something like that remain in recent history sites visited?
