Travel Weather

I am planning a trip to Egypt next year and would like information on weather and good times to visit Egypt. We are planning on staying for several weeks and want to avoid the rainy season and 100+ weather.

Thanks in advance for your help!

There is no rainy season in Egypt. It is very dry with only a few rainy days per year. Avoid the months from May upto October, at least if you want to visit the archeological sites. We have been on a Nile cruise in March and the weather was just perfect: warm during the days, cool at night. We have also been at the Red Sea in May. It was very hot at the time and we had various days with sandstorms which was very unpleasant.

Luxor was still VERY hot in October 2000 (especially in Valley of Kings), though by my next visit in November it was much more pleasant.
