travel to israel

Planning a one week pilgrimage to Israel the first week in February.
1. What will the weather be like?
2. Suggestions for clothing?
3. Anything else?

Thanks

1. Weather may be rainy ( usually not a full day) and it may be cold. Jerusalem could actually get snow.

Here is the Israel weather site--you can read about the climate

http://ims.gov.il/IMSEng/All_tahazit/

2. I don't know where you are coming from, but if it is winter there--bring the heavy coat along. You can always take it off. Make sure you have a number of pairs of comfortable shoes--it is hard to wear the same pair day after day and again--if one gets wet.... You will also need more modest clothes for religious sites--but in the winter this is normally everything you are wearing.

3. Anything else in terms of what--who is "we" are you going on a tour or on your own? If on your own give us more details and we can help. If with a tour I do not know what we can add that your tour hasn't already told you.
