Transpotation from Durban to Zulu Nyala

Hi, wanted to know of any car service to take us to safari from the airport. Or is it cost effective to rent a car and drive ourselves(4). Safari is 6 days and then back to Durban. Thanks

All major international car rental companies are based at Durban Airport and you can obtain rates from them. Should you wish to have a driver/guide take you to the lodge and collect you again and compare that to the cost of the car rental, the following is an extremely well established and privately owned local tour operator who I feel sure would be happy to provide you with a quote to compare the two. Town & Country Tours, Durban - www.townandcountrytours.co.za, contact person Sue Partridge.

If you bought/bid for the 6 day trip to Zulu Nyala from a nonprofit organization, they provided the transfer for a cost. Now that was in 2008. It could be different now. If so, I was sure glad they did in 2008.

Thanks for the info. Yes we did buy at auction, however their prices are a bit high and with no flexibility.

There are quiet a few car rental companies that you can find at the airport. Having your own transport is always something that I feel that you should have in South Africa. Companies that have a large fleet available works out better for you, as you can find something that fits into your budget. I have had great service with Capital Car hire http://www.capitalcarhire.co.za/durban-airport/
