transport between Izmir and Dalyan

Does anybody know the cheapest and safest way to get to Izmir and Dalyan? I understand that coach/bus transport is cheap and reliable. Thanks.

Yes, you can take the bus from Izmir to Dalyan, might have to change buses along the way, not sure where though (maybe Bodrum). The buses are VERY comfortable and safe if you pay for the better bus company (bus travel is cheap, but don't go extra cheap on it). You just go to the bus station (autogar) and ask for a bus to Dalyan (some times men stand out by the bus and shout out where they are traveling to, also see sign in the front - you can go a few days early and get your ticket) and how much they are charging - ask a few different places, even look at the bus and people getting on. Ones that are no smoking are usually more expensive, but better quality. I would guess that you could get a bus to Dalyan for under $50 Canadian (around $35 U.S.) for a decent company - but it has been a few years since I have taken the bus, so price is approx.

Hope this helps.
