Hari,

Just a fairly routine travel pages article (I've written a few myself ) about a 'concept' which is not new. I confess I only glanced through it with little interest. I came to the thread only to revisit the Selinda elephant charge story.

John,

I didn't ask Kanawe this ...... but, i wonder how he likes guiding on the walking trails vs driving people around? i suppose it's added responsibility for him now ......

While i was at main camp in June ..... we came across the Selinda pride (with cubs) and the mum gave the walkers a real hard glare and fortunately, the guide (i think, Ishmail) noticed her and was aware of her presence. But, i did chat to one of the ladies in the walking group and she said that it was a real adrenaline rush!

Hari,

Kanawe would be enjoying himself thoroughly, at least while out in the bush.
