Has anyone from Canada or the US taken a tour and/or safari with Goway Travel, office situated Yonge St. and Lawrence Ave., Toronto, Ontario?

Would appreciate someone replying. Also, if you have done one of these trips with any other good travel agent in Toronto, please share. Thanks so much

I am not familiar with them. But there are many great companies in SA that can help you as well.

I am sure this company knows their business, just make sure that they know the country too, that is the only thing I can suggest. If it's a good package and it's what you want to see and where you want to go then GO for it and enjoy the experience.

I'm in Toronto as well - have looked at Goway a few times (mainly to generate tour itinerary ideas).

Re Africa - a friend of mine who is a really experienced traveler to Africa (10+ trips) is now using a Toronto company called Safari and Co -

I have just booked through Goway for a trip next January. The agent was very helpful and managed to actually get me a cheaper price as the tour company (acacia africa) has not changed thier prices to reflect the american dollar currently being at par.

I researched the actually company I will be using. Goway just books the ticket so I was not too concerned.

We used Goway from TO to help us with our Thailand and Hong Kong trip in 2007. Can't say enough good things about them. We are now starting to plan our next big trip in 2010 to South Africa and have already been in touch with them. We liked the fact that you can do independent touring as we don't want to be in a bus with the same people for the entire trip. It would take a lot for me to book with another co. after how well we were treated on our last trip with Goway.
