Tour Companies in Egypt - recommendation required.

Hi, we are planning a budget trip to Egypt in Aug/Sep 2005 for 2 weeks- we are looking at tour companies like Renissance, Amigo tours, Ican Travels, Delta tours - does anyone have any experience with any of them. Of can you suggest an agency. Its our first trip to Egypt and we would like to see the famous sites (in Cairo, Luxor, Aswan, Alexandria)- thanks very much...

If you're wanting a U.S. company that includes air fare and will take care of you every step of the way, try www.friendlyplanet.com. If you're looking for an Egyptian company, I like Tut Egypt Tours, www.tutegypt.com.

My wife and I recently (May) did a 9 day Egypt trip with Nabila Tours,www.nabilatours.com. It was fabulous from beginning to end. Our guide, Inas (Nancy) Wagdi was wonderful. We highly recommend them.

We used ICAN Travel and they were fabulous. We specified our hotels and the actual Nile boat we wanted to be on and they arranged everything.for the 10 days we were there in March.
Car, driver, guide, airport pick-up, overnight trains etc etc.

Oh, and I thought VERY reasonable for 5 star hotels and a 5 star deluxe Nile cruise with a sleeper on the train. Much cheaper than booking the cruise and hotels direct as I did contact them myself to check prices.
