I know it’s not a part of East Africa that’s visited by many Fodorites, but I’ve found out on Bushdrums that the plot in Diani where the Colobus Trust resides has been put up for sale by the landowners. Now they need help to buy it.

I could not help myself doing this. Why don't you ask Oprah and see if she gets her money's worth. She helped fund a school in South Africa and the pricipal STOLE the money and is now up on charges.

Further off topic but the manager of Sabi Sabi Earth Lodge told me that by being in the Amber Suite I was sleeping in the same bed as tennis star/sex symbol Anna Kournikova (sp.?).
I told him that only when he could make arrangements to make sleeping in the same bed with her simultaneously would I be impressed.
