Tipping in Jordan
 

Can anyone suggest what amount we should tip our driver in Jordan? We will be driven from the border at Eilat to Petra, and on the way back from Petra, to Amman.

Also what amount is reasonable for a tip for our guide for 2 days in Petra?

We are taking the travel agency owner a gift from South Africa but I'm sure the drivers & guides would prefer money!

You typically don't tip a driver in Jordan... just pay the fare. However, it is a very nice gesture so you can give them anything you want... they won't be expecting it.
