Time of Solar Eclipse in Egypt March 2006

Hello,

Being a bit slow on the uptake (and geographically challenged), I only recently realised that the solar eclipse will be visible from Egypt when I'm there on March 29. Does anyone know approximately when it will take place? I'll be in Cairo -- not directly in the umbral path, but pretty close.

Cheers,
Julian

Oddly enough, I just helped someone find this information; at least I think it is valid. If you can paste this long address in, it's a tour schedule that focuses on the eclipse and times are specified. My favorite part is where it says the viewing takes place at a military site so "no wondering" is allowed. It's a little too much like some of my own my own typos. http://72.14.207.104/search?q=cache:...&cd=4&ie=UTF-8

We looked at doing a custom camping trip for the eclipse here in Egypt. The total eclipse just nips the northwest corner of this country. Our favorite guide found out that the military is herding all viewers into one small field, with no camping allowed in the immediate area. Some of our friends opted to go to Libya instead. The transliteration of Arabic to English is often full of surprises.........
