The Commodore Hotel

Has anyone stayed at the Commodore Hotel in Capetown? Looking for a convenient safe area where we can walk out at night and have restaurant choices and people about..

Hello Yellowpellican,

I was at the Commodore for 2 nights in the middle of September. Loved the location, (1 minue walk to the Waterfront), the hotel amenities (pool, steam room, sauna, gym), lovely breakfast and the bar area. Very friendly reception.

Enjoy!

While we were at The Grace, our friends were at the Commodore. We visited and found the hotel to be lovely. The public space, the staff, amenities were wonderful and a great location. The rooms were a tad bit smaller than ours :) , but more than ample for the amount of time spent inside.

We stayed at the Commodore last December and really enjoyed it. Good location - easy walking to the waterfront area.
