Temperatures late Sept vs. Oct

The tour we are considering to Egypt in fall 2000 has a price break if you go before 9/30. Is it worth $300 more to book an Oct. tour vs. Sept. 15--25 for example?

The only thing that I can see is that weather might be a factor. According to "the Travel Shop", temperatures can reach in May l02, June l06, July l05, August l05 and September l0l. If it were me, I think it would be worth $300 to go when it is cooler. We will be going in February when the average high is 77.

Remember that Egypt is a desert country and only 2000 miles from the equator. It is VERY hot in the summer months from May through September. The other months are moderately hot - all a gration of heat and dust. October through December are the best months. January through April are relatively cooler. However March and April has the other factor of dust/sand storms which are not pleasant.

Air conditioning in Egypt does not function up to modern standards - the air is tepid rather than cool and most places do not have it.
