Tel Aviv restaurants
My husband and I are spending 5 days in Tel Aviv. Can you please give us good restaurants in the area as well as in Jaffa? We like any kind of food, more casual atmosphere

Tel-Aviv "Time Out" magazine has a good restaurant guide:
http://digital.timeout.co.il/english/ In general, there is a wide selection of restaurants in Tel-Aviv at all price ranges and all ethnic types. What are you looking for ? Where will you be staying ? |
Nanuchka.. a Georgian Restaurant on Lilenblum street near Avenue Rothschild
|
You must visit the old train station complex "Mitcham Ha-Tahana".
There are few good restaurants there, here are 2 I can recommend. http://reginarest.co.il/ http://www.italiantlv.co.il/ The general atmosphere is great, definitely worth a visit! |
Manta Ray on the beachfront, near Delphinarium http://www.mantaray.co.il/
try their meze and fishes Rafael restaurant http://raphaeltlv.co.il/ - very good food and splendid views ; it is on HaYarkon, in King David Tower |
Regina has received terrible reviews ! For good Italian I recommend Boccacio (Hayarkon corner Frishman) or Picolo Pasta (Ben Yehuda near Mendele).
In Jaffa, go to Dr. Shakshuka (in the flea market) for North African cuisine. |
Itzik Hagadol on Raziel St. in Jaffa. Excellent traditional Israeli food of mezze and mixed grill. Goocha on Dizengoff St. in Tel Aviv - fabulous seafood!! I believe they have two other locations as well.
