Tel Aviv Hotel info request

I'm looking for a recommendation for a hotel in Tel Aviv, beach side. There are many options, some more expensive than others. Looking for an insider tip.

It depends on you budget.

The Sheraton Hotel Tel Aviv is one of the best hotels on the beach.

Hilton is another one.

Renaissance is also very good.

The rates are usually including a full (really huge) breakfast, Israeli style (lots of excellent dairy products and vegetables, no meat)

I suggest you go to www.inisrael.com

There are also many apartments for rent in the area, usually not right on the beach front, but close enough. Their rates are usually half of a hotel's. But they might be on a busy, noisy street.

If interested, tell me, I have stayed in a very good and quiet one, between $50 and $65 per night.

Anew hotel in Tel Aviv, very close to beach, balconies with sea view - the boutique hotel De La Mer. Some of my relatives have used it recently and were very happy with the accommodations. I also consider their rates very reasonable.
This is the hotel's site:

Have a nice trip!

If you are looking for some place cheap, clean, convenient with good beds, you can't beat The Home Apartments (corner of Frishman and Hayarkon, 1 block from the beach). I just stayed there at $43/nite for room with kitchennete and double bed. Nothing fancy and no view, but you can't beat the price, location and value!

How did you book The Home? I emailed them and never got a reply.

We have been staying there evry time we go to Israel. Very clean, simple, and in a quiet street in the center of Tel Aviv.

We always end up staying at the Yamit. Nice rooms, good breakfast. Not the cheapest but frequently they have sales.

We spent a night last time at the Cinema Hotel, made from a converted Bauhaus movie theater, located right on the pedestrian part of Diezengoff Square. Very fun place, fabulous roof garden. Navigating there in a car was nigh impossible, even our (lifelong TA) cab driver couldn't find the way.

The Cinema hotel is interesting, but NOISY. lots of buses and street noise till late night.
