Tax Exemption for Big Game Hunters

Saw a "tease" on TV last evening promoting the above topic to appear on NBC (Brian Williams) National News for tonight, Thursday, April 14... 6:30pm Eastern/Pacific, believe 5:30pm Central. NBC has been highlighting Taxes this entire week. Should be interesting to see what they have to say on this subject.

Brief segment about the US tax exemption given to hunters of game (many endangered) worldwide when it's donated to museums here in the States. Of course, the animal/s being donated (they're stuffed) is appraised for more then the value... scam, scam. There are so many of these animals stored in basements, there aren't enough museums to house them.

Of course, many conservationists are against this exemption (read: loophole). Whereas, hunters and those promoting this claim that without museums displaying such animals, many people would have no knowledge of them. The latter, true in a sense, as I can remember my own fascination, as a child, seeing these animals in the Museum of Natural History (NYC). But so many animals?

Mentio of a particular website promoting "Tax Free Hunting." Check the NBC website where I'm sure a search will bring up the specifics.
