Tarangire in March - what is the alternative?

Our itinerary in March includes Tarangire for 2 nights, Ngorongoro for 2 nights, and Serengeti for 4 nights. I am concerned that this is the 'wet' season and we will not see any wildlife in Tarangire. Is there another place to spend those 2 nights that might be more lively?

You should be fine in Tarangire.

Wildlife starts to move away from the park central usually by mid-late March.

Lake Manyara is a secondary option but not for more than one night.

We were in Tarangire in Feb and thought it was lovely. It is one of the parks that both my hubby & I enjoyed a lot and in any future visits ot Northern Tanz would definately have on the list. It is a beautiful park.

Have a wonderful trip!
