All of the Asilia camps have guides -- I'll be doing my game drives with their guides at Olakira and Sayari as well as Oliver's.

They do not have their own ground handling company, but work with Sokwe -- there is a page on the Asilia website:

BTW, CCA has responded on the game-package vs full-board question. Sandi is correct in that a ground handler in Tanzania can offer either full-board or game-package rates, whereas CCA themselves offer only game-package rates as they primarily do fly-in safaris.

Interestingly, a quote that I got for a 'full-board' package from one ground handler was actually higher than the game-package rate, because the ground handler's charge for their vehicle and guide was higher than CCA's (note that the ground handler's vehicle was a private vehicle whereas CCA's vehicles are shared). So the jury is still out on the question of which one is less expensive.

One option for people who want a bit of both is to have two driving segments connected with a flight to avoid the really long drives -- you would then have a different guide for each segment.

Thanks, Sandi and Julian. Does that leave only Nomad on the northern circuit as having a single rate?

Thanks for the information Julian and Sandi. I think I will price out having a driver/guide to Oliver's and the Crater and then flying to the other camps and back to Arusha.
