Tanzania- Migration Camp or Sayari Camp

this is a repeat as I can't find my first posting.
Which camp is best for the 18 to 21 Jul timeframe in the northern Serengeti. Want to see good resident game as top priority but seeing the migration would be a great bonus. Thanks for any suggestions

I think you are better off at Sayari. The Lemai Wedge area starts to receive some of the migration sometime in mid to late July, based on the last few years. August would be better, but late July should be very very nice.

What is the whole itinerary?

Sayari.

Have you looked at go-safari.com? Great resource.

I should qualify my statement: if it were me, I'd lean strongly toward Sayari in July. Migration is a guessing game, but I *believe* I've read reports here that the resident game is good by Sayari and you might have to drive a little farther from Migration--although many people love Migration Camp.

If you do a search here, Eben once posted/answered someone's questions about this very subject.
