Tanzania in November which parks ?

Thinking of taking my DH on safari again for his birthday. Which parks and which area's would give the best wildlife viewing in November? also what sort of temperature should we expect I realise it's the short rainy season. Any advice, tips appreciated.

As titled: "Tanzania in November" then you can visit at Tarangire and/or Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater and Central Serengeti. How many days at each depends on total number of days you'll be in-country. And, if you wish to head out to the coast of Zanzibar for R&R after bumping around safari roads, this too can be included for minimum 3/full-days.

November is the "short" rainy period, but this doesn't mean it will rain; if it does, rarely daily or even all day. Usually a brief amazing thunderstorm or overnight/early morning showers, neither of which inhibits safari. This is also the "high" (rather than "peak") season, so more favorable pricing.

Good luck!

FWIW, here's a nice little map of the area showing safari camps.

(backup from that map and you'll see a few photos I made in TZ last Feb 2011).
