Tanzania 2009 prices

I know this is a hard question but is anyone getting any feel for how much costs could go up for Tanzania for 2009? Just how much could a quote based on 2008 rates go up for 2009? Perhaps those of you who have some "contacts" may have an idea.

Thanks

From year-to-year, figure between 10-18%, always depending on the individual property.

Most 2009 prices should be available by August, some earlier, a few later.

I understand that park fees are set to up from July 2008 and this will definitely affect the 2009 prices. However many operators are careful not to push the prices more than 20%. You can be assured the prices increase will be between 10-20%

Thanks Sandi & nyandago. Those kind of increases can be a big chunk of money in safari prices. Sandi out ouf curiosity how do you deal with this from a business point of view? Do you ever have folks who just can't come up with the extra cash once the increase comes through?

Nope. No one yet has changed their minds.
