Tangier-Casablanca link

Hello: My (adult) family will be taking the ferry from Spain to link up with a tour that starts in Casablanca. We'd appreciate anyone's guidance on the best and recommended way to make the link between Tangier and Casablanca. A repeated theme here and elsewhere is that Tangier is no place to spend much time: Get in and get out. Should we take the train? The Bus? Etc.? We don't want to cut a day off Spain to hang around in Tangier. Has anyone had this sort of experience or any thoughts? thanks.

There are trains from Tangier to Casa, one leaves around 8am, the other is an overnight train. You could also fly. Your best bet might be to hire a Grand Taxi(s) to take your family to Casa. Negotiate with the driver the rate (if you need two taxis, make sure you agree whether the price is for one or both taxis); the cabs are full sized Mercedes and in pretty good shape.

I'd use the bus as a last resort, mostly because the schedule is pretty loose...
