Taga or ccafrica
Which tour company do you like better for South Africa and Botswana. I have seen itineraries from both and am looking for luxury accomadations. Is one company easier to work with than another. Is there another company I should look into?

I have just booked my Botswana safari with Mark at Taga Safaris.I changed my itinerary a few times and his advice was very helpful. He responds to every question in a timely manner and has an intimate knowledge of the SSGR.I can recommend Taga Safaris without any hesitation. |
Another vote for Mark at Taga. He put together a trip to Londo last year, and is working on a Botswana trip for '06. Good service, all details taken care of.

do a search for Taga safaris
and you will find a long thread with pros and cons for TAGA Michael |
I booked a four country safari (Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Malawi) with Mark from Taga in August 2001, and it was perfect, and although I haven't used Taga since then, I did recommend Taga to a relative last year, and he raved about his trip. He's 71 and was worried about transfers, accomodations, etc., and Mark put together a great trip for him to Livingstone, Chobe and Sabi Sands (I don't remember the lodges he stayed at). I would expect that Mark could book you into the CCA lodges. I'm sure there are other good companies, but Taga is the only one I worked with, and I can recommend them.

I highly recommend booking with CCA. They took care of all of our last safari arrangements including air transfers between the camps. Everything went off without a single problem. Excellent customer service.

I am working with Mark on my January safari to South Africa. I have found him very responsive, and his pricing competitive.
