Swartberge Pass

Selwyn has recommended doing the Swartberge Pass to me and many others on these boards. It sounds spectacular but also like it might be a scary drive. Is it at all scary?
Thanks in advance.

>>>Is it at all scary?<<<

No.:)

The secret is not to rush it, and to give yourself enough time to drive with care.

bermudajo,

Listen to the wise sage from Calgary :) because her advice is as per usual very sound and absolutely perfect.

Very proudly part of the wonderful ((r)) nation of South Africa

Just drove the pass a few days ago. I am a wimp with a husband who loves to do this kind of driving. This pass is wonderful...don't miss it! The road is wide and in excellent condition and the views are spectacular...fields of beautiful flowers under wonderful rock formations. Not scary at all.. I promise.

Thanks to you all for your reassurance. It's worked for me - now I just have to convince my wimp of a boyfriend!
