mhron

with 4 nights at Susuwe you will have a very good chance of seeing Leopard and a reasonable chance of seeing Lion and Hyena. Susuwe is more of Leopard country than Lion and Hyena.

Susuwe in July.
Game should be good and plentiful as the receding floodplains would have all but dried out entirely.

Perhaps more noteworthy than the predators would be the Sitatunga along the kwando river banks.

I would think that over 4 nights that you'll certainlyy be rewarded with leopard and hyena. When i was last there (May) saw dog tracks, but never had the time to follow up. Lion are sporadic, generally move through the area, so your chances are not unreasonable, but not that great.

I hesitate to say you'll love the place, but have to admit that it is one the most beautiful lodges I have ever visited. It's six suites are just amazing, while the artwork and detail around the lodge is more than intriguing.

If you are into birds, you will find the variety extraordinary, this is a unique eco-system that has a healthy population of species endemic to the area.

The host and host Sean and bnnita are a sincere wilderness couple, sean's knowledge is unparralleled.
