Hotel recommendation in Marakech

Hi, am planning to go to Marakech just over Xmas and was considering the Kasbah Agafay and La Sultana. Has anyone stayed there, any feedback most welcome. Also any other ecommendation for 4/5 star, would like it NOT to be too far from the centre. Thanks

Try a Riad instead of a hotel!

Riad Enija is right in the centre and glorious!

Check my site for more information and some pics.

I agree -- go for a riad! We stayed at Riad de l'Orangerie in June, and it was an amazing experience. My favorite time of day was in the evening, on the roof of the riad, during the call to prayer.

Les Jardin de La Medina is lovely. A bit of a walk from the Jemaa El Fna square but still a good location. Plus it has a bar.
