South Africa in January

My husband and I have booked a trip to South Africa in January, but now I am having doubts. I've heard it's hard to see animals and Victoria Falls maybe quite dry. We are ok with the heat. Any thoughts? We will be traveling to Cape Town, Johannesburg, Swaziland, Zimbabwe.

What are you planning to do? Cancel and lose your deposits and air fare? Seems like an expensive option because a trip you planned might not be "perfect". Go, you'll love it. January is actually high season in South Africa for holidays.

Not sure where you will be wildlife viewing. Joberg, Cape Town and Vic Falls are not wildlife areas and Swaziland is nice, but not famous for its animals.
