Snows of Kilimanjaro

Planning for trek up Kilimanjaro in January and I'm wondering about the suitability of some of my gear. What sort of overnight temperatures can I expect?

Hi Kurt,
I climbed Kili Jan, 98. It was quite cold at night at the higer elevations (slept in tents in the snow). Spent one night at the crater - 18,000 feet. Take layers of clothing, a warm hat and gloves. Fleece is highly recommended. And expect lots of rain, at the lower elevations.
It was a FANTASTIC experience - I'm hooked and have been to Tanzania 4 times now.
