Slide show of old dude's spring 2010 safari
I posted a trip report ( ash clouds and airline strikes be darn, we are going on safari) soon after we returned, but it took me four months to finally edit all of our 2700+ images and 8 hours of video into a slide show worth sharing.
We hope that you enjoy our efforts and share your comments with us. This is a link to our slide show; http://www.photodex.com/share/rchatmon/d74a9mg4 (You may need to load this small viewer program to view. http://www.photodex.com/downloads/pr...gins/presenter) There is a hidden command bar in the bottom of the image that allows you to enlarge the image. Turn up your speakers and enjoy! Travel safe, |
You do not have to download the whole program, The "presenter plug-in" is second from the bottom is the right hand column.

Great photos! Missed the last 7 minutes as the buffering was taking forever! :(
Am doing a personalized safari with Warrior Trails next June. Was Calmian your guide the whole way thru? |
oops his name is "Clamian", sorry
|
Yes, Clamian was our guide and Jackson was the driver.
I am sorry that you could not see the whole show as there are pictures of Clamian and Jackson. Perhaps a lot of traffic on their server??? Travel safe and enjoy! |
What a wonderful slide show. Did you buy the music over there?
|
Yes, some of it, there are street vendors all over Niarobi selling everything you can think of. Most of what I bought was not that great, but some was usable.
|
You did a great job! The length is perfect and I watched every minute of it. I need to go back and read your report again. Good job!
|
Thank you for posting the slide show. We went to many of the same places. Now that I have seen your photos...I want to go back!
|
Your slide show was very cool how it incorporated stills and video clips. I was certain the mother and baby zebra were the exact ones I saw until I noted they were from Nakuru where you went but I didn't.
I hesitate to download anything on my own computer, so I viewed it at the library. For other viewers even if the buffer timer states 14 minutes, it only took a couple. I'm sure you had fun with your 8 hours of video and 2700 pics. |
