Skukuza airport??

I'm having trouble finding any information on flights from Johannesburg to Skukuza airport in Kruger park. Can anyone point me to where I can find this info? Are there other airports nearby? Thanks!

I did some research for you. Although flights to Skukuza were apparently ended on Oct 21, the flight schedule for Jnb to skukuza was still on the SAA website. I see that there are also direct flights scheduled to Mala Mala.

So I did a bit more research and found this information at

"Skukuza flights to be discontinued (July 25, 2001)

According to an article on Ananzi, Skukuza Airport in the Kruger National Park will stop receiving daily scheduled SA Express flights into the facility with effect from September 2002.

The reason for these discontinued flights is the new airport at Primkop near Nelspruit in Mpumalanga. This airport will be known as the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport.

In addition, National Airlines will begin a service to Mala Mala Game Reserve on October 1 this year, the article states. The aircraft to be used for the new service is a Beechcraft 18-seater Turboprop 1900D."

Then I found this site
and all the information is on good luck

The Airport you want to fly into is at Hoedspruit and the Airline we use for that is SA Air Link. All the tour operators will pick you up there or you can rent a car and drive yourself. Hoedspruit is now the main airport in that area.

Hope that helps
