I am going to be in Jerusalem from March 6-12 on business. I would like to take a day off and see the city. Does anyone know of any tours that are offered?

Connie,
Well, it depends on what part of Jerusalem you would like to see. It's a beautiful city and there is a whole lot to see, so if you could narrow your interests down a little I may be able to point you in the right direction. Example: are you interested in ancient sites within the city, newer items of interest? Did you want to stay within Jerusalem, or would you be willing to travel a little outside of Jerusalem - Bethelem or Jericho? There's lots to do, and getting around, even on your own, is very easy to do. Let me know...

Might I suggest you lay your hands on the Lonely Planet's Jerusalem City Guide.

Then you can work out what's in the area you'll be in.. and what you want to see before you get there.

A bit of plannning and you'll see a lot more in the alotted time and choose what YOU want to see.
