have flown and driven. both are great if you've done both. The drive is through a mountain range. Sites of the six day war and also a monestary that has the burning bush. Sharm is famous for snorkeling and diving. It has some nightlife. It is odd to see Saudi Arabia across the water. When you have lived in Cairo it was used as a get-away.

if you enjoy snorkeling or diving, the marine life here is world class. in some ways it's even better than the great barrier reef. definitely worth a visit for a few days.

first u can get to sharm el sheik, u ahve 2 ways either go by bus/car (6-7 hour drive) or take the plane.

there are many things to do in sharm, first the sea is great to dive or to take a cruise. and also the night life is very rich with discos, pubs and there are many oriental places in which u can hang out.
