Seychelles sailing

Hi all,

My husband and I along with another couple have chartered a catamaran for 10 days next month.

Presently our itinerary includes Mahe (charter base), Praslin, Curieuse Island, Grand Soeur, and La Digue.

Has anyone done this? Perhaps other smaller islands in the vicinity to explore?

We are pretty laid back and interested in snorkeling and just hanging out with the local folks.

Any hints or suggestions appreciated!

Snorkeling around Coco Island (off coast of La Digue/Praslin) is worth a stop. Visibility and current is good, you are close to the reef and we saw turtles. Spend at least a day on La Digue for sure. The beaches are beautful and we really enjoyed bicycling around. Everyone we met was incredibly nice. It's a delightful town... and easy to bike around. We had lunch at La Digue Island Lodge out by their pool. Food was good... especially the chicken curry.
Have fun!

Thanks so much for the info ms. katydid.
We leave one month from today. I just bought a new bikini, so I guess I'm ready!
