Serena Beach Hotel Mombasa
Has anyone been to the Serena Beach Hotel in Mombasa in the past two months?
I understand they are doing renovations and am wondering if they are finished... and if they look good!

Shamim, That's good to hear. I had heard they were doing MAJOR renovations and was wondering if it was still open.
Since you sound quite knowledgeable, what would you say are the top 5 beach hotels in Mombasa (north and south coast)?

I've been at the Serena whilst they were doing renovations. They make a point of making sure it doesn't impact on guests. With the high season coming I'm sure they will have everything under control. Say hello to Serena the African Grey Parrott when you get there.
The hotel is certainly my favourite at the coast.
