Dear All who replied:

Thank you very much for the replies. Unfortunately, over the past few days my situation and plans have totally changed. The Safari doesn't look like it will be happening this year. Instead I will be traveling to another location. I am still planning on the Safari but it will have to be next year.

Maybe this is too much information but I didn't want to just disappear without explanation.

Once again, thanks for the replies.

How nice of my fodor friends to chime in and stick up for me with such lovely comments. THANK YOU!

MITsbm, the delay just gives you more time to plan. Thanks for letting us know.

EdPaula,
You seem to be a strong supporter of Kenya with comments such as: <i>"I would recommend you visit <u>Kenya.</u>" "I would still recommend a visit to <u>Kenya</u> especially between July to October where you will get a chance to view the World famous Wildebeest migration." </i>

Such advocacy of this country borders on--dare I mention the term--advertising! You're going to rile the South Africans.

Looks like we may be joining forces against Pedro, who has no article on "Best Places in Kenya" in his website, though best places are mentioned elsehwere.

~Cheers~

Not to worry, atravelynn. edpaula is one of those phenomena that, like a fart, appears once and unpleasantly, then vanishes with nary a trace.

I'm not usually a big fan of scatological humor, but this was very funny, rizzuto.
:))

pixelpower Mar 15th, 2011 12:17 PM

Rizzuto,

Strike 2!

(2nd time I notice your perfect choice of words)

twaffle Mar 17th, 2011 01:34 AM

rizzuto and pixelpower … having a Fodor's love-in. Whatever will happen next!! :o

pixelpower Mar 17th, 2011 02:33 AM

Who knows. The first gay marriage in the bush?

My wife wouldn't agree though.

DonTopaz Mar 17th, 2011 04:35 AM

genoeg is genoeg ... je me suis marié avec assez des belges, merci bien

atravelynn Mar 17th, 2011 08:10 AM

Plus on est de fous, plus on rit, Rizzuto.

Can I be the flower girl if this or any other bush wedding or even a renewal of vows takes place?

Sangeeta, unlike you, I happen to be a big fan of scatalogical humor and I also appreciate Rizzuto's erudite comment.

pixelpower Mar 17th, 2011 10:10 AM

't En fait pas Rizzuto. C'etait que pour blaguer. En in 't Nederlands 't zelfde.

Too bad though cuz I like the idea of Lynn as a flower girl.

Wow 1st time ever I get to use three languages in one post.

Ciao,

J.

Hey wait ... make that four languages! :-D

DonTopaz Mar 17th, 2011 11:13 AM

I wonder if there's a Fodor's user named Polly Glott?

pixelpower Mar 17th, 2011 01:30 PM

If there is such a person, it deserves to be someone from (the Dutch part of) Belgium, you gotta give us that!

atravelynn Mar 18th, 2011 02:25 PM

I'm impressed with your linguistics Pixelpower whether I ever get to be a flower girl or not.
