I haven't tried yet because they showed the series three times on Animal Planet here over the past year. Amazon France has it but I think the DVD they sell is a heavily edited version (though to be honest it probably works better from a normal viewing perspective heavily edited - 30-40 minutes on setting up a display of naked mole rats for a local school isn't rushing it.. but I learned quite a bit "not many people know" about naked mole rats). There is an English soundtrack option on the DVD. The link I gave is for the producers of the program and what I'll do when I get around to buying is to write to them. Did they not have a copy at Elsa's? Would they have anything to show it with if they did?

Lynn, hmmm... that would be a fun job for me. The latest Meru news can be found on www.chelipeacock.com. Go to news. Sounds like everything is going great except for the Grevy's zebras.

Joeyi, before you go, I recommend that you check out any of the Joy Adamson's books ("The Spotted Sphinx" comes to mind -- about her cheetah Pippa). It will give you a historical perspective about Meru. I think it will enhance your experience greatly. In the northern part of the park, there is Pippa's gravesite -- very cool if you have read the book.
