Hi michael
Out of your wish-list the easiest to see is Klipspringer: U've missed some since u've been to Serengeti - it is easy to spot it in some places e.g. Lobo area, u can also see it in Manyara. same with Mara & Samburu (Klips best seen in Shaba though.) (for your next safari) Tsavo - good Klipspringer country BTW - Dikdiks in Samburu & Serengeti could b different species! Guenther's can be seen in Samburu. Kirk's in both parks aby |
Hello,
Kavey's comment about spiders made me laugh -- I feel the same way, mostly because I'm rather seriously allergic to spider bites. My philosophy with spiders is that the best defence is a good offence...so out comes the shoe to swat the buggers. Cheers, Julian |
Shoe swatting is acceptable in emergencies but then one ends up with icky spider "juice" over one's shoe and in one's tent too (if that's where said swatting took place) and one may accidentally brush against the juice at a later date... ICK!
I quite like those camps that provide spray to kill the spiders with and then their horrible dead (but better than alive) bodies are taken outside by husband or staff! :D |
