safari operator Kenia--feedback, please?
We are looking into a 6-8 day fly-in safari of Masai Mara and Samburu in Kenya (and would like to add a Lake Nakuru drive-in day or two). Has anyone used Kenia Tours? What was your experience. They are KATO listed but experience beats listings any day! If another traveller has recommendations of other Kenyan based operators we would appreciate hearing from you. Our budget is mid range. Thanks a lot!

I'm not familiar with Kenia Tours. There are so many tour operators in Nairobi that I'm sure there are lots of reputable ones that we don't tend to hear about.
A Nairobi based tour operator that I've used and can personally recommend is Eastern and Southern Safaris. Some that are often mentioned here that others have successfully used are Southern Cross Safaris, Wildtrek Safaris, and Lets Go Travel. I've probably forgotten a few but that should get you started.
