Asante Sana,

It turns out that Tsavo might make an interesting trip report after all. Maybe we'll have to swim with crocodiles to get to the lodge, maybe we'll have to tow our jeep out of the mud while the famous Tsavo lions are watching us, ...just maybe..
I'll definitely let you know how bad the rains are in that area ..

Patty, last week I exchanged emails with the folks who are managing Elsa's Kopje. They say Meru looks like someone has sprayed it with fertilizer... everything is green and flowering. Migrant birds are in. Sounds like it doesn't s--k.

Thanks again, everyone! I just finished packing and need to tend to a few last minute things before heading to bed early (4:50am shuttle pick up tomorrow).

A quick hello from the business center at the Nairobi Hilton. It's still raining here. We met Kristina (safarimama) who was on the same flight as us at AMS and she introduced us to Kennedy at NBO. Heading to Laikipia tomorrow morning.
