SAA us to jnb, BA to vfa carry-on help
We like to travel with just carry on, but this will be our first flight to Africa. We're leaving on the 29th, I CAN HARDLY BELIEVE IT...i can't quite really believe it, but I'm going forward as if it's true...sort of ;-D
ANYWAY, I've read what SAA writes on their site, but i was hoping some of you who had experience with them in the last year or so would share your observations.

If you've read the SAA requirements/limits for a carryon (only) bag - size and weight to fit in the overheads, you shouldn't have a problem. But one never knows.
Don't forget - if you do any shopping for souvenirs, the amount and weight of these will have to be considered on your return flight.

Hello,
Don't forget to check the requirements for BOTH of your airlines. On one trip to Africa, I flew internationally with Virgin (fine) and then had to pay over-limit fees on my regional flights because the limit was lower and I hadn't checked.
Cheers,
Julian
