Ruaha Documentary

Just a heads up to all those who subscribe to NatGeo Wild (UK).

The channel will be airing the premiere of a documentary called "Intimate Enemies" (23 November, 9pm).

Despite the title, it is not a Joubert film but is based on lions vs buffalo during the dry season in Ruaha National Park, based on ambush attacks on the banks of the river

I think it may be the first documentary that has focused on Ruaha - but I may be incorrect

Have you watched Relentless Enemies? Filmed at Duba Plains.

Amol yes, I have it on HD-DVD (1080p) and it looks even more stunning.

I have also been fortunate to film a hunt and kill in Duba Plains myself - an amazing experience. I was filming 10 meters away from the Skimmer Pride when they were feeding on the buffalo.

I should dig up some of the photos. I still haven't edited the video but hope to do so soon.
