Roman ruins in Lebanon/Syria?

Does anyone know the specific name(s) of the area(s) of Roman ruins near the coastline in Syria/Lebanon? Years ago a friend from that region told me about such ruins, but I have forgotten the place names she mentioned. Thanks in advance for any assistance and tips!

Might the names of Balbak in Lebanon and Palmyra in Syria sound familiar?

Thanks, maybe those are it. I know they aren't as frequented and popular as some of the other well-known ruins. However, I have heard they are better preserved. As an historian, it is of immense interest to me. I would be curious to hear from anyone that has been there that might tell me more.....
