Roman Antiquities of Tunisia
Would like to know how the Roman antiquities in Tunisia compare in physical beauty to those in Sicily, Western Turkey and Spain

hi again,
hm, I never been to those places You wanna compare, but with those in France, Germany, northern Italy, Jordania and Greece, those of Tunesia look real great.
Of course there is Carthago, a real great place to be for ruines, and on the other hand there is Dougga, not far away from Tunis in the west. This is real big area in a nice surroundig and with less tourists then Carthago. But dont forget Speitla (spelling) a little bit more in the south, a whole town to look at. And of course El Djem, one of the most breathtaking monuments the romans leave in Africa. Last not least there is the only original punic suite - it is located on the top or the "Cap Bone", but unfortunatly I forgot the name, but it is easyly to find.
Have fun
