Great shots, and all in 2 days!
Beautiful blue bird, elk crossing, and big horned sheep. The coyote sequence was beautiful.
Hope you and your daughter had a great time.
You are doing good PR for Rocky Mountain National Park!

Great shots - thanks for sharing! You were lucky to see the bighorn sheep. My sister has a house in Estes Park and spends 2 days a week there. She rarely sees sheep. I've been visiting her once or twice a year for the past 8 years and have only seen them once - and we always take at least one long dayhike.
I loved the bird shots and the coyote!

Ella: pleasure to help. No doubt in this park a lot of hiking goes up but they do usually put in enough switchbacks to the trails to make them reasonable.
Lynn: I've had people suggest that I should lead trips there but I've never really put any serious thought into that. I'm happy to try and meet up with anyone that wants to explore here though just for fun! BTW, I did get through the Serengeti on my trip report this week but only a couple people posted so it's buried somewhere. I only have Ngorongoro to go and I will be done with the report!
Althom: glad you enjoyed the photos. Bighorn do take some luck but I have had a lot of luck with them over the years in Rocky Mountain and elsewhere. The come to Horseshoe Park for the minerals just about daily in the summer and it often seems to be mid-day like between 11 and 1. The ones in the pictures though were on the Alpine tundra near Trail Ridge Road crossing over the park and we were lucky they were close to the road.

Great pics. Also loved the Botswana shots, as we we there for our 10th wedding anniversary. So for our 20th I convinced my wife to go to the CU vs WVU game on 9/18 with the promise to go to RMNP. So my question to you is can you help me plan the trip? Places to stay, eat etc in Estes Park.
Thanks
Thanks
