Roccco and Singita

I'm so confused. Just read your latest posts on the "Singita, King's Pool, Mombo" thread, so please help me here:

Is it presently OK to plan a trip to Singita or not?

If one goes to Singita, is it OK to combine the old Singita with the new Singita?

Is it true that the economic realities of the old Singita are an outrage and an affront to humanity, but the new Singita is Paradise lost?

Is it true that there is Singita, and then there is Singita?

Which are the Singitas that you will never go back to?

Is this kind of luxury overpriced, or not?

Is it true that you will only stay in hotels with a Conde Nast Traveler in the desk drawer instead of a Bible? Do you consider them one and the same?

Is Zambia still the world's only worthwhile destination, or not?

Can you find the "Real Africa" in South Africa, or not?

Is it true that the Real Africa used to be in South Africa, departed temporarily, but has now returned?

If it did leave South Africa, did the Real Africa do so by ground transportation or by air, and at what cost? Did this include an overnight in Joberg?

Does the "Real Africa" include being surrounded by a militant group of Zimbabwean nationalists?

Does the "not quite as Real Africa" sometimes have advantages?

Which are "the stupid lodges like Djuma Vuyatela," and which ones are smart?

Is Sabi Sands just an overpriced, over-manicured, Disneyized wild animal park, or not?

Is Mala Mala now on the approved list because it announced its succession from the Sabi Sands?

Is it true that you will never again safari in South Africa at these prices, or is 1996 sufficiently similar to "never?"

Is it true that, if you time it right, you can get three weeks in Zambia on Luxury Link for $1.50?

At this moment in time, is the Rand rising or falling?

Is going to Italy akin to purgatory, even if you're named Roccco?

Is my head spinning or twirling?

Can I still wear my designer shirts?

With love, attempted humor, and genuine good wishes for all our travels...

The answer to your questions are yes, no and I don't know. Apply each answer as you see fit!

Touche, steveboy. LOL... Hope I never get on your wrong side. Well I'd gladly provide you with the opportunity, because this was so funny.
OK, Steveboy is from Southern California, has a rapier-wit and writes like a pro. When he isn't eviscerating Safari-dependent dreamers, what does he do for a living?
Attorney? Comedy writer? Both?
Have a terrific trip to SA and please give us a report when you return.
