Returning US travelers from Syria..

wondering if apart from when you returned from your trip to Syria has having a Syrian visa stamp etc. in your passport created any problems with immigration as you come back from any other destinations? Any additional questions or delay ? Would appreciate feedback. Thanks.

No, no problem, no questions, no delays either on return or later.

Not true for me. They circle the word "Syria" and sent me to a very extensive secondary screening.

You're obviously not blonde!

US Customs can be suspicious of arriving Middle Easterners, and even of Westerners born in the M.E. A blue-eyed French teenager I knew was detained in Atlanta en route to the Bahamas, on account of her Cairo birthplace! However, that was a couple of years back, let's hope things have eased up now!
