Regarding Kirkman's Camp...

I forgot to ask if the airstrip's proximity to Kirkman's camp has any negative effect on the animals siteings? (from the website it sounds like this camp is accessible by airplane). Thank you.

Airstrip is not that close to the camp! The camp will pick you up by vehicle for the transfer-- as I recall, the camp is 20-30 minutes away by vehicle. Convenient, but not "next" to the camp.

The bigger question is, how has the reduction of area (with the recent sale) changed the wildlife viewing experience. I think it will take a recent traveller to answer this...

We stayed at Nottens Bush Camp and flew into the Mala Mala airstrip. As we landed there were warthogs, wildebeest and rhinos next to or just beyond the airstrip. We also saw giraffe and elephant as we landed. They completely ignored the plane. So don't worry about the effect of the airstrip on game viewing.
