ill be traveling to Egypt in December and possibly flying Emirates airline. I’m thinking of staying in Dubai for 4 days before flying to Egypt. Is it a safe for a woman traveling alone?

Yes, no problems at all. Dubai is one of the safest places I've ever been to.

To be honest with you, there is so much to see in Egypt, I wouldn't waste 4 days in Dubai, which is basically a big shopping mall.

I'm female and I've spent time in Dubai alone. Agree with Kathie though, it's pretty much a big mall other than the old souks, which I hope are still there.

Yes, it is. Dubai and Abu Dhabi ranked among the TOP 10 safest cities in the world. You can even walk along at night, no problem at all :)
