Ramadan 2001?
 
When does Ramadan begin and end this year?. I was planning on visiting Morocco in November and want to avoid visiting during that period of time.<BR>Thanks!

Phil! What I found with www.google.com and searching "Ramadan 2001" is:<BR><BR>Nov. 16 - Dec. 11, 2001.<BR><BR>I agree with you, it's better to avoid, if possible.<BR>You'll love Morocco. It's beautiful and the food is just wooow!<BR>Well, maybe you know already. Have a nice trip!<BR>

The date Ramadan starts depends on the sighting of the moon therefore no date is definite, however, it will probably be around November 17 - December 12. You then have the Eid festival which lasts about 3 days.
