I am trying to be diligent in planning a trip to Tanzania but it seems i have endless questions. We have gotten a range of quotes from operators for basically the same type of itinerary: 2nts Ngorogoro Crater Lodge and 3 nts mobile camping in the Seregeti. We would have a guide "assigned" to us for all 5 nights. Some of the operators include Tanzania Odyssey, African Portfolio (describe themselves as a consolidator?) and Thompson Safaris. Any comments on the above are welcome!

I have taken a trip with Thomson Safaris and they were fantastic. Perhaps the best I have ever traveled with. They have their own operation in Tanzania and have very very good guides. I highly recommend them.
